The Orange County Library System (OCLS) has named The Group Advertising’s President and CEO Mr. Hernan Tagliani to its 2013 board of Trustees. The announcement came during the Orange County City commissioners meeting on 7/15/13 and has been unanimously approved by the Library Governing Board. This nomination has been previously appointed by the city of Orlando mayor Mr. Buddy Dyer and his city commissioners but needed the final approval from the Governing Board.
Library Director/CEO Mary Anne Hodel is pleased to welcome Tagliani to the Board of Trustees. “The depth and breadth of his experience will benefit the library and the community,” she said.
A marketing veteran and visionary with more than 25 years of experience, Hernan brings the unique combination of working for and owning full service multicultural advertising and PR agencies. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Hernan has proven his ability by leading some of the most highly effective marketing, media and strategic communications campaigns for distinguished national brands across USA and South America. With an MBA in Advertising, Hernan is well established and well connected in the community. He keeps his finger on the pulse of the market through his affiliations with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando and the Orlando Advertising Federation. He was an awarded board member of the Orlando Advertising Federation (OAF) and Vice President of Marketing and PR of ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals of Finance and Accounting). Hernan was also awarded Top Hispanic Entrepreneur 2010 in the State of Florida.
